the rear scuff plate is much shorter than the front ones--it would look cramped with the logo.

Yeah, I think so too. But if you someone did not mind it I think it is do-able
If I had an IS I would try it.
The lettering is 5.0" wide the inset preimiter is 5.75" and the entire aluminun sill is 7.75". the big issue wil be who easily will the sill bend or bow enough to fit the rear door curve. Wiring will be easy, it can be tapped into the front sill inverter and if dims it too much, you can get a small ivereter to power it for $5-$10.

on a side note, while I was back in Taiwan last year, I sat in my mother's new Toyota Wish (a tall wagon like Matrix). It had the same cool blue logo ("Wish") on all four scuff plates, as well as on top of the rear bumper where one loads the cargo. The rear logo is on whenever the headlights are on. Now that was cool.

Default Sills

I apoligize for not posting sooner, but busy sales have kept me away from the computer for a bit. The sills for the front are 109.00 and the rear are 64.00 each.

For the base model you want to go with both so they match. The front sills are lit and the rear have the brushed aluminum insert.

For the sports package you want to go with just the front since the rears already have the aluminum insert. If you ordered all four and do not need the rear, call me so I can schedual a pick up of the parts and credit back the account.

We started selling these items because club lexus members requested them. I have received a few customers with no problems on installations. I have seen one post on the forum about no power being present in the pre wired plug. I have seen one post were the member tested his plug and there was power. So I wanted to ask if you ordered your sills and received them already, if you could please post up the results of your installation. That way we can provide information that shows the real world application of the items so far. If it means some modification is needed, or that they are plug and play, we want to provide that information. So anything you guys can contribute will be greatly appreciated.

Again if you have any questions or comments you can reach me at 310-522-2383

Luis,

There was a correction on the post with no power. There actually is power on the connector, as terp05 and I have verified. However, what is missing is the ground signal from the ECU. I am still waiting for someone to post that they were able to get it to work by simply plugging them in.

One of the customers who mentioned it to me was a walk in. Not to sure if he post on these boards. What I am doing is making sure that customers know that so far they do not simply connect and light up like some members thought. It is strange the connector would still be left intact, but they do that sometimes because its one main harness they use for a vehicle. Rather than have two seperate harnesses for the same vehicle. Vehicles that dont come with factory fog lights have the connectors there to.

I just went to dealer to pick up my scuff plates and ask them to install for me since I hear it's not simply plug in and it works on these thread.

2 suprises for me. They only charged me around $100us ($20us installation fee ) and I only waited for like 5min. They told me it is plug in and it works. so I guess Japanese and US circuits are somewhat different.

It looks sweeeet!
