yes, it has aluminum scuff plates. However, I would prefer the illuminated ones.

It's not a finger, just a towel

The scuff plates are tied into the same circuit as the dome light and therefore are affected by both switches in front of the sunroof. The following is from the service manual re: the plates...
I too ordered mine yesterday for the front and rear. Thanks for the pics I did a search on this and couldn't find anything. The problem is my car will be here in mid January can't check myself. Paid rear $64.00ea. front $109.00ea.shipping $20.00.

I ordered 2 front plates Tuesday and was initially quoted $64 for the fronts, but got a call back this morning and was told they mistakenly reversed the prices, so front is $109, rear is $64.
Has anyone gotten the cheaper price?

So the rear scuff plates are just the normal black ones? Does anyone know the cost of the aluminum ones?

Also does anyone have pics of the illuminated ones in the day, as well as the aluminum plates?

for everyone's clarification:
Base model has black plastic scuff plates
Sport model has aluminum scuff plates with engraved Lexus logo in the front
Luxury model has aluminum scuff plates with lighted Lexus logo in the front

On luxury package, both front and back are silver. Last pic is rear which is plain.

jlin101: But do the ones from Carson's Toyota also light up the rear scuff plates? If not, what's the point of getting them? If they do light up the rear scuff plates, then how do you connect them? I suspect there wouldn't be a plug for the lights like there are in the front.
