Canadian website doesn't list Bluetooth, Radar cruise control, precollision system, and park assist as options. Any fellow Canadians know if these are available in Canada? US website lists them under " Individual factory options". The Canadian website doesn't mention them as far as I could see - are our cars "decontented?" Thanks in advance.

Frankly, I'm glad Lexus Canada didn't force potential buyers to have these options on the IS350 on the premium package (& add to the price) like they did with the new GS.
If you want the NAV/ML/wood steering wheel on the new GS, you have to take the PCS/radar cruise/park assist as well.

The only option that you listed I'd be interested on the IS350 is the park assist.

I think they want to keep the price down on a loaded IS350, Canadians are more price sensitive . . .

I agree that Canadians probably are more price sensitive - especially bcuz the car is valued as if the exchange rate is ~ 1.4. Might be nice to have the individual options available though as opposed to packaging them with other luxury packages. Personally, I think park assist or the backup camera are probably useless in Canada where it snows 7 months of the year. I have park assist on my Audi A4 and the alarm constantly goes off when snow is on the bumper. I suspect it would be the same for the backup camera being obscured with snow. I travel alot in my car for business - Bluetooth feature would be nice/cool. Thanks for the feedback!

Not in my part of Canada (Vancouver ) we only have a few days/year (if at all). But I can see if you're in Alberta.

True enough - you're in the Sunbelt of Canada. What's it like living in a poor Communist province? Are you allowed to drive your Lexus or do they make you take public transportation? I hear there are lots of tricked out Lada's there.

This is good news - where did you find the information that Bluetooth is available?

There are public transportation in BC ?
Yes I hate the taxes here, but I still won't trade that for snow . . .

pmonag: personal experience, i.e. sat in a canadian 350 & took 10 seconds to connect my bluetooth Sony Ericsson T610 to the car. The systems works very well (easy to use, great speaker/mic).

good point about the lack of mention on the .ca site though!

Like I said before, Canada always gets the shiet end of the stick as compared to the states.

The only bad months are from December to March when it snows in Calgary, but still there are warm days every so often (thanks to the chinook winds from the rockies). As a matter of fact it was 20C this week. A record of all times. So far there has been light snow once.

On the contrary, I would be happy with 3 months of snow as compared to 12 months of torrential rains.

We don't get 12 months of torrential rain in Vancouver, the rainy season is usually September to March or so, I don't like rain either, but snow is much worse for me.
I've stayed in Edmonton before too, & I've seen snow in June that year . . .
