Lightbulb Possible fix for no ML

I ordered a Black is350 w/ sport package. I wanted ML but the dealer said I will have to wait 3-4 months.....thats just too long of a wait for me and I need a car asap. I saw this product on the web,its called "JL AUDIO CLEANSWEEP" Its a black little box that is connected to an existing oem
sound system, no changing of head units, speakers,no need for amps etc.You still retain the stock
system.I just don't know if the sound will improve a lot or if it will work w/ the IS system.I will also have to see if the price is worth it.When I get the car I will go to tweeter audio or myer emco and inquire about it.

hows the sound with no ML becuase im not able to get it since im here in hawaii.

As for the cleansweep im sure you could expect it to be quite good coming from JL audio, but the question is does the price justify getting it.

if you do get it let us know how it sounds!

Hmmm, I looked up the product, since I thought it sounded like a BS Product... but from JL audio, who doesnt normally make BS.

So anyway, I think you have the purpose of the Cleansweep incorrect. It basically removes the EQ from a Stock head unit and lets you connect a 4 channel aftermarket Amplifier to your head unit. It also gives you one auxiallary input.

So you would need Aftermarket speakers and Amp(s)

Ive been looking at the cleansweep also, and it looks to be a pretty good piece. I think the IS has a pretty decent setup if you choose to go aftermarket with audio equipment. You can run a 3 way component set in the front since you have a spot for a tweeter, midrange, and midbass in the doors. Run a set of coaxials for the rear, add a sub, and run it from a good 5ch amp and it should be good to go.

Honestly, the stock OEM sound system is very good. I had a Bose system in my 350Z and the OEM sound system in my IS350 blows the Bose one away.
