I had a chance to visit Toyota HQ with a friend who is a GMA. I'm sure for people who work there the place is no big deal, but I had a great time looking around. Hope the pictures come out. I didn't have my camera so the pic were taken with a Treo phone/camera

 

This pic was taken in the Lexus building where they had a red IS350 w/ Lux package in the middle of the room on top of the platform. It was flanked by one black IS350 w/ Lux package on the left and the Silver IS350 w/ Lux package on the right. I was told from my GMA friend that people who work in corporate side of Lexus usually don't leave so it is hard to get into that division. I looked to see if ML was on the IS350, but didn't see the option on the window tag.

 

This IS350 also had the Lux package no ML and was in the main building where most of the employees do their work. A manager of my friend stopped by and talked with me for a bit. He also made the comment that he was disappointed that there was no stick on the IS350, but overall the new IS was a well made car. To me the new IS is a great bid deal, but the way he commented on the new IS gave me the impression that he wasn't all that jazzed like we all on in the CL forums. I guess if you work with cars all day long, it just becomes a job like anything else. Anyway, I hope the pics come out.

 

Where is the Toyota HQ at?

 

HQ is in Torrance. Those first few pics are inside Lexus HQ on 190th. That Silver IS is in the Atrium section of one of the buildings (the one you see on the corner of Western & 190th) on the main Toyota campus. Im shocked they let you take photos inside. They usually don't let you.

 

Nice pictures! You should have told your friend to tell the powers that be to send those 350's to dealerships because people want to buy them. lol
