So in a recent thread I remember seeing pics of a black / tan interior (I believe it was pics from clearwater lexus?) Anyways, I think the interior looked hella tight, but I see no mention of a two tone interior on any of the upgrade packages. Am I overlooking something here? (Also if someone is collecting pics, can you post a pic of the different interior choices?)

The dash is always going to be black, no matter the interior color or trim. What you probably saw was the cashmere leather. Any IS with the same leather will look the same as the picture you saw. There are no other packages.

Not all the dashes are black, I've seen the dashes in grey, or silver, whatever that color is.

But just to clarify, I can get the black dash/steering wheel without one of the additional packages? And ya, I saw the pics of the cashmere on the white IS. That interior color combo isn't due to any packages ordered?

 

What you see is what you get.

The ONLY packages that affect the interior are the luxury and performance packages. And thats only the trim. All the IS's other than the 250 AWD come with standard aluminum, the premium packages give you wood, and performance brings you back to aluminum.

 

All of the top of the dashes are black.. But the bottom of the dash, side panels, and glove box are all the color of the interior that you choose. There are silver or maple wood accents center consol and doors as well.

Now from what I can tell, the dash and steering wheel in the pic i just posted is straight black, as opposed to yours being a more greish color. Is this true, or is the pic I posted just glaring so bad that its throwing off the color?

 

just the lighting. dash and steering wheel are ALWAYS black in the IS (as stated previously).

 

Does anyone know if you get vent seats if its all leather or it will be with the swade/ leather inset like on the original IS. I like that stuff better than the all leather.

 

There are only three interior colours: black, cashmere, and sterling. Black is all one colour and cashmere and sterling are what is commonly being called two-tone.
