I'm probably going to look at the new IS tomorrow or the next day. If anyone has something that they would like me to take a pic of specifically let me know and I'll see what I can do.

 

This might be a weird one, but if they have a smokey granite car could you try to get a closeup of the paint in the sun? I just want to see what I'll be dealing with in terms of detailing should I decide to buy one.

thats the color I want right now. Onyx blue is 2nd I think.

 

I know that Clearwater Lexus has a Blue Onxy, I'll be over there sometime with in two weeks I hope.I believe someone already took some pics of it but I'm going to take some more when I get over there. But like I said before about the Grey I will when one shows up.

Lexus of Clearwater doesnt have a Blue Onyx, that was the Demo from the ATL regional office. I think they got a Glacier Frost IS-250 RWD and Black IS-350 today though.....

 

I would like to see the Blue Onyx in bright natural sunlight, direct sunlight to see how it reflects the color.

i have personally photographed a blue onyx IS in overcast weather....you wont really tell how blue it is till you get close

That's cool - thanks. I'd still like to see any up close/sunlight pics of any color. I'm kind of a paint geek, and Lexus paint has always been a favorite of mine (so much flake, yum).

 

Man isn't that the truth. Their paint is the best. I will do what I can. I know that one of them is in the showroom and the other is in the warehouse so maybe they will put it outside. Its also been mad overcast here in Orlando for the past couple of days. Hopefully tomorrow is better.
