definitely going to purchase is350
well i have made up my mind. i can no longer wait for acura to come up the speed, both the new rl and the tl just don't cut it. i am going to the local lexus dealership tomorrow and check into purchasing an is350 the instant it arrives. at this point having done all the research and checking into other similar vehicles from bmw, benz, infiniti, etc., i am deadset on the is350. the only thing that can stop me is availability or dissatifaction with the test drive. i already have the money put together and with my acura cl for trade-in, even an increase in my insurance won't stop me. i am over the looks, you're never going to completely fall in love with all the visual attributes of a vehicle. black/black, fully-loaded; anything under $45k and i'm good. not concerned about coupe/convertible, manual-shift, or awd.
so i'm new here, just learning about lexus cars, and i hope to be able to share in the fun and excitement surrounding the new is350's as well as get to know the members here. looking forward to all the pics, video, and personal reviews this fall.

My wife got a 2006 GS300 AWD in March and she just loves it, but for me it's the IS350. I have a 2001 IS300 (Black w/Black interior)
My wife and I went to the New York Auto Show in March just to see it in person. I'm the first person on the waiting list at the local Lexus dealer.
I'm signed-up for Taste of Lexus in IL on October 8th, so that will be the first chance to actually drive one.
After seeing it in person and reading the excellent reviews from Ryan (Flipside909) I can't wait.

Thanks everyone. Just left the dealership over in Missouri, only took about 15 minutes to leave a $500 refundable deposit. They said fully loaded will be about $45k and they expect first week in October. Apparently not that many people are asking, I'm one of the first few in the Kansas City area. Can't wait.
