I certainly dont know about the pricing - Avensis 180 is very expensive car, it is almost 30k Euro by itself!!!
On my LandCruiser Turbo Diesel 3.0 liter I have an auto box, it does a pretty good job.

For info: Avensis 180 with NAV is precisely € 33,150 in France (to be compared with € 31,000 for IS200 Pack Luxe with NAV)

Yep, but in LC it is an truck transmission, unsuitable for car (even the new 5 speed AT in 2005 model LC).

As to the Avensis - exactly... Imagine how much more expensive will IS220d be with similar trim (leather, NAVI, sunroof) ?
