Default what awd system will new IS use, and how will it work

"you know anything about their awd system? i believe its a hybrid system which runs on batteries, but i don't know if its full time or part time..

nor do i know what kind of awd system it is (ie. torsen/haldex/etc).."

No one knows at this point and no it's not a hybrid system for the IS250 AWD.

this is for the gs, im guessing same as for is

The GS 300 is the first Lexus sedan to offer this feature. This full-time all-wheel drive distributes power to all four wheels, contributing to improved traction and helping you to stay in control during foul-weather driving.

The all-wheel-drive system is fully automatic. There is no driver involvement necessary. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRAC) automatically route power to either the front or the rear wheels as necessary to give a smooth ride and help provide optimum traction [1].

would still like to know the torque split, etc
