Hi Fam,

So I’ve just changed the spark plugs and relevant gaskets etc.

now the car idles high about 2k.

Went to mechanic to see if they could help but to no avail. Now it’s doesn’t stay on and goes dead after a minute or so.

Mechanic has quoted me 1600 for a new ecu to remap the engine and get it working again.

I refused and towed it back home.

Anyone have any insight to what’s going on or help””

Could it be a damaged Air intake manifold harness? Sneaky harness that's behind the intake plenum. Damaged mine when I did my spark plugs last year. Relevant thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...e-harness.html
