Cylinder locations
2010 IS250C
I just changed the coil packs and spark plugs on this car. It was a pain in the butt, it took me 4 hours. Then the car wouldn't even start but at that time, it was dark so, I left it alone for the night. The next day, after 2 hours of frustration and changing the MAF sensor, I noticed the hose on the back of the manifold cover had come off. This time, it took me 41 mins to take everything off, connect the hose and put everything back on. Started right up. But, hours later, I got the code, p0354 Ignition Coil "D" error but I don't know which cylinder is "D". Does anyone have a diagram? For the love of GOD, do not let it be on the driver's side!!

P0354 the '4' tells its cylinder 4, the '035' tells there is a fault in the coil, open or short on the primary or secondary windings of coil. Is it a Denso coil? If it's cheap aftermarket, it could be defective. Swap it to a new location and see if the error follows it. Obviously double check connection.
From the drivers seat Bank 1 is on the right. Bank 2 the left. Cylinder 4 is Bank 2 center cylinder.

Your thoughts?
It was the aftermarket coil that caused the p0354 issue. When I tried to switch the coil from cylinder 4 to cylinder 1, it wouldn't plug into the clip. I couldn't even get it to plug in the other 2 clips, cylinder 3 or 5. This was very odd because it plugged into cylinder 4 just fine. I had the person go and buy 1 Denso coil pack ($143 - 20% discount).. When she brought it back, I immediately saw the difference. Inside the aftermarket coil, there is white plastic surrounding the metal contacts. With the Denso, there is nothing but the metal contacts. I don't understand how the other 5 or even the 6th one originally plugged into the clips.
But after connecting the 1 Denso coil and taking a test drive, the owner said the car drives like brand new. The only thing I didn't like was it was idling at 500 rpm's. But she is now satisfied with the repair.
