Rear differencial label codes
I have noticed that diffs with confirmed lsd have letter a or b on the sticker code and diffs without lsd have * code.
Is there any logic to this theory or just random?
rcf lsd diffs
ls460 fsport lsd
diffs without lsd
This is the one im trying to identify
And is there any way to know what the codes on the label mean? 36J, 2GJ, 381, etc and the numbers/letters after that?
Or is this some factory secret only they can read?
Thank you.

Do a search on here, likely in the performance thread for my user name and key words like LSD, Torsen, and 327, you'll find more to add to your list. FWIW with the axles out, you can see straight through a Torsen. Open diffs will have a cross shaft for the two pinion spider gear set.
I searched for that thread, didn't find it.
There is. this...

Look in the IS-F forum too. Although maybe I put it in my build thread?
PS if you didn't notice, my 350 has an OS-Giken in it... It makes the car amazing to drive.... so if parts cost you north of $1500, buy the OSG. You won't be disappointed!
