My 06 IS350 has started beeping multiple times when unlocking, I posted a previous thread looking for answers. Pulling the negative terminal off the battery worked for a little bit, but now I've noticed since the cold weather has hit, my right rear door does not lock and unlock and I press the lock and unlock button. I am also unable to open the door with the door handle from the inside when its locked. I have to manually unlock the door from the inside, then use the interior handle to open it. I've also notice that the door lock barely moves when I lock and unlock the doors.

Could this be the door lock actuator failing? I also can't understand how the actuator ties into being able to unlock the door by simply pull the interior door handle.

 

Some of the stuff I've read said this is related to the 10 beeps, and given the age, I'd say replace it.
