Default CV axle

Anybody have good luck with aftermarket axles? Have to replace the in-law is250 awd axle. Consider finding used set or new aftermarket ones.

I want with a Cardone axle, apparently they are refurbished OEM axels. 90$ for the driver side front axle (2010 IS250 AWD), so pulled the trigger on em. Installed them back in July. I also do a lot of Uber driving so 100+ miles a day, just shy of 10k miles since the install and they seem to be holding up well. Will end up buying them again whenever I need to replace any other axles down the line.

Not one but TWO different respected mechanics I know recommended Detroit Axle. A highly respected member of this forum being one of them. No personal experience but I will follow that advice next time I have a need. I have used a few Cardone axles in the past and no issues. About 80k now on the ones in the old ES at this point, and less in another non-Lexus vehicle.

I can distinctly recommend against TRQ/1A Auto axles. I assumed they’d be acceptable rebuilds for the price. The outboard front passenger joint was seized as it came out of the box. Insanely bad QC.

Thanks I decide to get used oem from my local yard. Low miles and in good condition at $85. If the oem lasted 238k why not stick oem.
