Default 2009+ Side mirror question

Recently I bought some aftermarket 2009+ side mirrors, and I discovered that you cannot remove the spring folding mechanism, which means you can't replace the spring with a motor. This is bad because I have power folding mirrors, and I don't want to lose that functionality. I then attempted to put on the 2009+ mirror casing onto my 2006-2008 mirror assembly, because I saw it in a post here. They did not fit, which has brought me to my last idea, I need to just put OEM 2009+ side mirrors on my car, but unless I know what the spring mechanism in the OEM 2009+ side mirrors look like, I'm out of luck.

Below is a picture of what I believe is the 2009+ Mirror assembly, and it seems to have the same folding spring mounting points, as my mirrors have, which leads me to believe the OEM 2009+ side mirrors will fit the motor. Is there any chance someone could do a teardown of their own mirror, or just provide pictures of what a teardown the OEM 2009+ side mirrors look like? It would be the biggest help ever.
