Default Immobilizer module reprogramming

Hey guys so I recently pulled my immobilizer module out and I was wondering first. So I have suspicions it fired due to water getting into the cabin through some heavy rain my suspension is only due to my tpms module failing around the same time and the vehicle running fine one day and the next just wouldn’t fire up codes I found where the infamous B2799 (from what I heard in groups everywhere ) and replacing just about everything from coils to sensors to plugs ,basically had me chasing ghost problems. Well I’ve heard you can leave it out to dry in the sun and it will re initiate itself idk if this is true or not but if not will I be Able to reprogram a new module with my scanner I recently bought a subscription to lexus and I’m not sure what it allows but I was wondering if I would be allowed or it’s a dealer only thing with there software
