So bought an IS250. In order to start the car you have to put the fob close to start button and then press the button while pressing the brake. So I bought an unlock used key call the locksmith and he wanted to just turn on the cluster ( dashboard etc.) so he can program the new key but he couldn’t get the cluster to turn on. He then suggested that there may be antennas issue which is not reading the key? I did replace the battery of old key fob and there is no light no beep happen. Should I investigate the antenna situation or take it to dealer as the locksmith said he never done a Lexus keys. Any helpful suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
