I purchased this vehicle a couple weeks ago, no problems at all besides fog lights not being on. When I push the fog bottom by my dash , I notice not only don’t the fogs not turn on but my headlights flicker and go back to normal. Before I purchase new fogs to see if that will work, anyone know wat the issue can be ?

 

To the best of my knowledge - stock OEM configuration these have twist **** next to the main lighting **** on the stalk.

You might want to look under the dash and at and headlight relay module in the engine bay and see if anything looks out of place. I'm guessing someone added this and modified the car wiring.

 

I'm 99.99999% you're hitting your headlight washer button instead of your fog switch, which as stated, is on the turn signal stalk as an additional ring inside of the outer headlight-twist option.

I swear, does no one one check owners manuals anymore?

 

Remove the fog light bulbs and see what's going on there. You may have water inside the housing, weird cheap amazon bulbs or even bulbs not properly inserted.

 

You completely missed the fact that the OP said they were "pressing the fog light button on the dash" (which is not where the fog light control is) and that the "headlights flickered" as it would appear if the washer was spraying them.

 

Headlight washers were not standard in all N/A cars unless you happened to have the "Headlight Washers" option.

 

And zero 2nd Gen ISs came with a fog light button on the dash or anywhere other than a switch on the turn signal stalk. What's your point?
