Yesterday had a mobile tech replace the plugs with new Denso Iridiums, the old plugs were gunked up, engine is running better no more misfire.

But soon after, the CEL came on, ran the diag showed P0441 evap emissions purge flow. I dont know if the tech did something by accident or what happened. Any advice on P0441??

Engine is still running fine, but need to call the tech again!

At 250,000 miles Im driving this car on borrowed time, but still cheaper to fix it than get a newer car. Im in car sales I see the car prices and interest rates and what people are paying!!

 

It sounds like something wasn't connected back up. The evap solenoid could be it by either not being electrically plugged back in or the evap hose has come loose.

 

UPDATE--yes the evap hose had come off--put back in is now fixed turned off CEL! Car is running great driving around enjoying the summer!
