Hi there, recently purchased a used q300 and invidia mid pipe for my wife's car. Got it for an absolute steal in Australia so couldn't resist.
I need help with finding the gaskets for these pipes. I decided that I will buy all new gaskets.
How ever I cannot seem to find any information on the sizes of the gaskets I need.
The gaskets I have identified starting from the exhaust tips are as follows:
- (A) 2x gasket to attach muffler to y pipe joint (q300)
- (B) 1x gasket to attach y pipe joint to hanger pipe (q300)
- (C) 1x gasket to attach hanger pipe to mid pipe near the resonator (mid pipe), a side question, this already has a donut gasket attached. do I need another normal gasket or no?
- (D) 2x gasket to attach mid pipe to remaining to pipes which go to headers (mid pipe), a side question about D, does this need 1 full gasket to cover both things, or 2 seperate ones?
- (E) 2x gasket to attach mid pipe to
Any links, any information or experience is appreciated!
I would unbolt the pieces to verify diameter of the mating ports.
As for D I can't zoom in clearly on my phone to view.
Last E you should be able to source from your local Advance Auto parts store. Most likely they will have two part numbers one for the 250, and 350. Get the smaller inside diameter to fit the IS250 converter flange. They will have a small pinch tab. Use this to prevent it from falling out when bolting the midpipe to cat converter.
