Default Check engine and trac off

Hi,
Two days ago while driving my check engine light came on and at the same time I got the Trac off message that wont turn off.

I had my friend plug the reader and it said something like voltage missing. I checked the battery power and it was under 25% so i putted in a new one. Today i drove 120 km and the check engine light is still on and the trac off too even after i deleted the code.

Anyone got any idea what is happening? Thank you.

What are the codes currently present? Without them it's anyone's guess as to what it could be.

I do not have the reader. All the guy told me was that it was written voltage missing.

If the car is operable at the moment. Autozone should be able to scan for codes, and give you a printout free.

Did you check the battery voltage while the engine is running? It should be 13.7-14.8Vdc (or something very close). If the battery reads mid-12v with the engine running your alternator is probably failing/failed.
