Have an opinion question. Finally got my 250 AWD (211k miles) running. Engine sounds great, fuel trims are pretty good now. (were really high from a bad fuel pump and what I think was a leaking injector) Car also gets stuck in third gear and won't go into fourth. Had previous issue and I've replaced the solenoids with no change - no codes either.

However, leaking front diff fluid so I took to local garage to look at. (live in the country so no close by Lexus specific garages except dealer). Shop says they may have to drop everything to get to the front diff seal. They said no much more if I want to get a low mileage transmission and they'll put it in.

Seems like used ones are anywhere from $800 plus shipping for ones with less than 100k miles. Should I just go ahead and do it?
