2006 is350 brake hardware kit
So getting pads/rotors done this round. Car has 180k now, went with centric blanks ctek and akebono act pads all from rock auto. Now regarding the hardware for it do I buy a standard brake hardware kit and does that include everything I need? I noticed on other threads theres shim kits or something extra besides the pins and such.
Lexus Roseville Ca part numbers for the fronts are 04947-500-90 then rear is 04948-30210.
Or would something from napa work too?

When I bought new brakes from Rock Auto the pads came with the shims/clips but not the wear sensor. The pins are reusable. I'd keep the shims in the bags so you can return them if the kit comes with them.
I've been reusing the OEM shims with every brake pad replacement. No issues to report. Regarding the brake hardware other than the shims, I have replaced those with new OEM pieces in the past. Always cheap insurance for peace of mind.
Unknown history with old shims, so this was a new updated part number from lexus. The hardware is direct napa ultra premium so I feel fine, front and rear costed about $50 for hardware. Shims from dealer was $124.
The car brakes better than when I first had it in 2018, it had unknown pads with advic rotors on it, then I had a akebono pad change at 130k. According to akebono they recommend 300-400 miles of moderate braking to bed in the brakes so will follow that. The previous pad change I just changed pads and did a bedding process of hard braking so will update if squealing occurs again. Otherwise it’s great now!
Last update for now… the old rotors had a noticeable lip on them so I’m sure that caused some brake squealing before. I have driven over 300 miles now without a bed in process and there is still no noise going forward or reverse!! Absolutely happy with the results, and the smoothness is noticeable with no hard lurch when coming to a stop now. Highly recommend going the full 9 yards for your brakes.
