Looking for some advice / help on my 04 is300. 200 dyno miles and 25 road miles into
new GE motor (boosted, GTE internals) I’m driving home and start to lose throttle response. I was on the highway the first time it happened I pulled off to the side and it started driving fine again. About 30 seconds further it went out again and I coasted to a stop. It would come and go in spurts I would have no response than little response.

i thought I ran out of gas so I put gas in it and it’s starting to do it again/ now I don’t hear any turbo spool. Now I’m just wondering what it could be because it was fine on the dyno and then I leave and 30 minutes down the road it gives out. It drove amazing before this happened.

Anyone have an idea / experienced this before?

Could be a variety of things - kinda sounds like fuel delivery. What type of ecu / piggyback are you running? Did that shop alter that or tune it in? Try and get some data off of it while driving around if you can

the gauge on my intake manifold that has the fuel pressure is reading 40 psi which my tuner said it was supposed to read . I have a haltech ps2000 I’m running on it now. The shop didn’t tune it I had it brought to the tuner for tune. The shop did the break in process though. It was all running great until this
