Crazy G is right. Before you ask any questions for "performance", try using the SEARCH function and do more research. When you're question options are spent, then post something on the boards. There is no such simple "chip" mods for any Toyota or Lexus. Toyota/Lexus ECU's are well engineered for performance/efficiency that theres no need for such things. Bottom line is...do more research.

Forget about chips. You're better off driving the car the way it comes from the factory...for many reasons. The engineers know what they're doing. When you start screwing with sensors, spark timing, engine temperature, fuel flow, etc..... things start to get messed up. The warranty could be voided, and even worse, engine damage. These engineers at the factory don't make big bucks for nothing.....it takes a lot of time, work and knowledge to properly design and program an engine. True, there are tuner companies like AMG, Roush, etc.....but even those guys are professional engineers that know what they're doing and these companies are linked with the factory, and the factory warranties their work. The factory will NOT warranty you screwing around with aftermarket chips, and you may not pass emissions test if your state has them.
