Hello folks, I recently bought a 2002 IS300 Sport Cross. I love it so far, I got her with 110000 miles driving like she is supposed to. She is not perfect by any means, it has 3 codes pertaining the ABS system, and the confusing part is that there aren't any lights on my dash.
The light-bulbs in the dash are actually there (just in case somebody thought the previous owner removed them), I see them before it cranks up. The codes she is showing in my scanner are: C1223; C1246 and C1267.
Best regards,
Cristobal

- DTC C1223 ABS Control System Malfunction
- DTC C1246 Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Circuit
- DTC C1267 Brake Pedal Load Sensing Switch

All codes are pending. Till the ECU does not see them resolved automatically in a certain amount of time. As far as the codes. Your ABS module may be going bad.

I am actually having the same issue with the codes. When you depress the brake pedal the Brake light on dash turns on and the brake pedal will start pulsating as I am coming to a stop. I had cleared the codes beforehand but those are the 3 I had. I plugged up the car to TechStream and when the brake is depressed the SRMR,SMF, and SMR Solenoids turn on which look to be for TRC and the ABS Motor Relay turns on as well. If you depress the pedal quickly and release after that it goes back to normal and the brake light turns off. Its been bugging me for a week now.
It will be the module or the accumulator pump. As long as your sensors and master are good. I am also assuming it is not warped rotors or stuck caliper.
