Default p0135 and p1349 not going away!

Hi guys,

I have the mentioned codes that will not go away even after changing parts and resetting the ecu.

A short story, a while back i was trying to do a 2jzge conversion, for 2 months my 1gfe was out of is200 while figuring out why 2jzge starts then after few seconds die, won't start again till i disconnect the battery and reconnect but starts and dies again. So i decided to put back my 1gfe back. I did not change the oil because i wasn't driving the car that much since i changed the oil. Was about 5 miles per day maximum.

At one time, the car started stalling and check engine came on with P1349, the engine was stalling when the temperature is at the middle. When the temperature is below that it wont stall only when its on the middle. I did a couple of driving before doing anythig just to make sure its stalling when the temp is on the middle only. Anyways, i changed the VVTI solenoid and changed oil. The car do not stall anymore but p1349 came back again, but there was no change in perfomance. It drives as if nothing has gone wrong. So I was always resetting the CEL because there was no issue with the perfomance. Then came P0135. I checked the live data and bank 1 sensor 1 was not sending any signal. I bought a new O2 sensor and installed it reset the code and drove. Checked the live data the sensor is sending signal. I thought i was done, only for the code to appear again in the morning cold starting the engine. The moment engine turned on the code is there. I checked the live data, the sensor is sending signal so I dont know what is wrong, i went to get another brand new sensor, but still the same happens. Then Bank 2 sensor 1 code was there.

Anyone has an idea what to look for? I have attached the freeze frame data

O2 should be a bad O2 bank 1 sensor 1. As for the other. Manually power it to make sure it moves. It will click. Then pull the oil screen on the feed line and replace or make sure it is clean. Also make sure the VVTi gear is not leaking.

Thanks for your feedback.

I have done all the checking you mentioned nothing seem wrong. The oil feed is clean, vvt filter is clean and new solenoid tested its clicking. Even the old one was clicking.

Today i put a 3rd O2 sensor, all sensors tried do send signal as i see in Live data. But suprisingly today, when i was idling, engine cut off. I turned it on and kept idling and turned off again. I started the engine again and i drove, it turned off! I pull my scanner, i get o2 sensor all banks, VVTi code, and all 6 ignitor coil error codes and the engine lost power from there on.

Is the ECU going bad?

There were Ignition codes also, i tested them one by one, and found 1 no spark. I went to buy a replacement. I came back, the engine was rough, so i put my scanner, second one is dead, i went to buy another one. I took out the ECU i saw some brownish liquid in one plug, I am not sure if its water but i know its not oil but i cleaned it and put it back. I have driven it for 11 miles, no codes till now. My workplace is just about 6 kms from where i live. Previously before i changed the coils, i drove about 30 miles i get VVT solenoid code. And in the morning on cold start o2 sensor code pop up. But now nothing and i hope it remains that way!
