Default no throttle response

there was a rattling noise when I let my foot off the gas and I thought it was coming from the throttle control motor so I took the cover off of it to see if I could see what was making the noise and after I put the cover back on there was no throttle response. There is also a CEL now and it is idling at 2000 rpm. I didn't touch the adjustment screws for the TPS. The traction control light is flashing too.

One of the pins on your tps connector looks like its not snapped in .... pull your plug... check all wires are locked in place

Default Flashing

Flashing traction usually means misfire
My spark plugs were cracked causing this

Also check throttle cable,
Clean throttle body and maf sensor
Check all oils

Do 100k maintenance items

I disagree
a misfire will register with a code reader
so I had a misfire but changed all the plugs and wires...no more misfire code
the system will flash that trac light if any of the main intake components are not working properly.
currently mine is on because of a hole in my catalytic converter.
Just sayin

it seems like flashing traction means a lot of **** on our cars lmao. I aciddently shorted my city bulb to the relay and it came on flashing . what's that about .

I use my track about 0.25% of the time, so I always looked at it as not having to hit the button every time I got to the car. But, yes, it seems to be ignition or intake usually. Mine was from a freakin rodent chewing my number 6 spark plug wire.
