Noticed this today for some reason. After turning the car off, and going under the hood, when pushing (pulling) the throttle "stick" all the way it makes a clinging sond that I've never noticed. Cable and assembly did seem a little loose- I have been going nuts about this since this afternoon, and am a little hesitant to drive it (with fear of it getting stuck) What do you all think?

 

Have another press down the throttle pedal as you watch and listen.

Sometimes, things do not seem to move correctly when manually activated.

Watch the return springs action.

The throttle cable normally has slack in it when the throttle plates are fully closed.
