Hey, im new to the board and i just got an IS 300 on sunday. I love the car so far! It shifts so smoothly that im amazed every time I change gears. Unfortunately, I only got to drive it home from the dealer and now its sitting in my driveway cause theres some kinda problem with the insurance company and the car wont be insured until next week. I'm pretty pissed off by in the meantime i thought i'd post some pics and i have a couple of questions that i thought i could get answered.

First question is about the rims. I haven't seen these rims on any other IS except for the one i have. I know that they are OEM rims, but its kinda weird that i havent seen them anywhere else. I like the stock 17s a lot more and was wondering if anybody is selling a set for a reasonable price.

Second question is about future mods. After the wheels, i plan to get a new exhaust system. The only company that im considering is Borla (cause i have connections with them). Does anyone have Borla exhaust on their IS or does anyone have any other comments on this subject?

Looking good, I like the blue. Those rims were for the no-cost 16" all season tire option (looks like you've got some Bridgestone RE 92's on there), and I've seen new ones on my dealers lot with those rims and the all-season option. I've also seen those used as winter rims for snow tires on '02s. The '01s had a different 16" wheel option that looked similar to the wheels on the mid-90s SC300.
