Photo Op, Interested?
Hi Everyone,
A friend of mine (on behalf of his shop) has been approached by a major auto magazine from Japan. They want to do a feature on Japanese cars in the USA. My car was lucky I suppose to have been selected as one of the feature cars - for a 4 page spread. I know that my car isn't at the same level as other GS's here on CL, but hey I'm not going to say "no thanks", right. Now here's the other surprise...
They also requested that I bring along an IS300 to be included in the photoshoot if possible. I told them for sure. But unfortunately, sorry, they only want ONE single IS300. So... I thought this would be a good opportunity to represent ClubLexus and invite a fellow CL member with an IS300. I'm sure someone out there would be interested, right?
1st off, this is a photoshoot here in Southern Cali. 2nd, it is planned for noon this Sunday 08-03-03. I know, I know, this is very short notice. But hey, its an opportunity to get your car in a magazine!
Now for the requirements - you know there has to be some, right. The IS300 needs to be well-rounded in its modifications:
* full body-kit (no partials - like having just a front lip is not enough)
* rims 18inch+
* suspension (springs OK, coilovers a bonus)
* engine mods (intake and exhaust is OK, forced-induction a bonus)
* audio/video system (mild to wild)
* any other mods (like brake upgrades)
They're not looking for anything crazy here, but just an IS300 that is a good representation of the overall tuning scene here in Southern Cali.
