01 IS300 with 1JZ injector question.
Hello, I have a 01 is300 with a freshly swapped JZS171. I’m using the is300 harness and ECU. I honestly just connected everything I could and hoped for the best. Car runs fine no CEL but haven’t driven that far. I have a ECU Classic on the way so I have a couple of questions before I get started.
I was going to use the AEM wiring diagram I believe posted here as a reference to wire it up. Is there a IACV on the JZS171 and if there is do I have to wire that to the standalone or can the stock ecu control that?
Since the 1jzgte uses batch injectors, since I’m using the 2jzge harness is it now converted to sequential?
I’m using the stock auto, what exactly does the stock ECU use to control the transmission so I know what to leave in place.
One more thing. I’m also using new 2jzge coils on the 1jz. Since they aren’t true coil on plug what do I configure the ignition event as?
