Round Tail Lights not coming on with brakes...help?
The round trunk tail lights on my wife's 2002 IS300 aren't coming one when the brakes are depressed. I replaced the bulbs, but that didn't fix it. Oddly, the lights work when I turn them on manually via the rear fog light button.
All other lights on the car (brake lights, running lights, etc) work fine.
I'm lost...any ideas?

like my IS and all others that were sold anywhere the speedometer is metric (km/h), they were as a rear fog not a brake light.
You can splice the trunk light into the brake light and have both the trunk lights work in sync with the tails. If you do this you'll have to unplug the tail fog light switch from the dash or it will keep them on.
