Default Catalytic converter help please

I have a 2003 is300 with check engine light on with code p0420. I already know my catalytic converter needs to be replaced but the dealership is offering me the OEM part for 3,993$ which I would like to cut the cost in half. Basically I was wondering if anyone knew a replacement just as good as OEM or better. specifically the magnaflow catatlytic converter looks pretty good? Any advice on a good replacement is much appreciated.

i have a magnaflow cat that i used for a couple of weeks that i'd sell to you for a good deal, you would need new gaskets however.

You can buy the whole pipe on Ebay that includes the cats. The aftermarket headers range from $250 to 350 & the aftermarket mid pipes are in the same price range. I recently bought the Flowmaster header & the Magnaflow mid pipe from Ebay recently for $550 total.
