hi everyone,
well i have a a NEW TRD LSD with its rebuild kit and installation kit too and wondered how much i should sell it for since its a discontinued item? its a for a 200mm diff. This kit is for the common diff toyota has made for the JDM supra 98-02, soarer, Aristo, crown....etc. this is not a sale ad, but more of an advice post on what the product should be priced at?

Don't see them often, but last couple that sold in classifieds were $900 - $1200 without rebuild kit which I think is around $300

thanks for moving the thread i was a bit skeptical if i started the thread in the right section. the pirce of them new long time ago was around those figures you mentioned and the installation kit is around $300 too, so thats 1200+300+300= $1800 if im right, but i know they are discontinued and dont know how much i should put it for sale? its such a pity i bought this years back for a project and now im selling out everything cause i cant proceed with the project.

I don't think it'll sell for the prices in your poll. There are other clutch based lsd alternatives out there and fewer big builds, so discontinued isn't a big factor. Those that were posted at 1200 sit a long time.

I think mine came bundled with intslation kit when I bought it new; have never seen one sold separate. Had to google and it's 189 new for those parts from phr.

Ebay probably your best bet. Put up for the higher price, document well and try. You'd neee a qualified voucher to sell here on CL.
