Just figured I'd say hi. I just bought an 01 is300 today, 175000 miles but got it for 1500 so can't complain. Had her about 30 min and got a cel. Vvti filter, ordered a new one today. I come from the world of Mitsubishi. My current you is a 91 3000gt vr4. Before a spun a bearing it put down 450 awhp. My is300 looks like it was wrecked and some of the body work was done. I'm debating if I want to flip it (since I got it so cheap) and get another in better shape or just fix this one up. I plan on doing a turbo and putting it around 500 rwhp

 

welcome. nice sn btw. imo, I'd say flip it. the market for getting an IS300 is now as they are cheaper than ever and there are plenty for sale. Preferably a clean unmolested one if you're looking to put down that much power.
