Default Engine air flow

I know this may be the stupidest thread but I recently bought an 01 is300 and well I've been replacing the engine seals and a full engine work.. i jusy had a concern that is : is the supposed to be hot engine flowing to the passenger side below the car.. idk if its due to the header postion on the car or that there may be a leak/crack in the header to catalytic. There is no hot air like dat om the driver side.. help
