So I've noticed lately my 5 speed 300 is starting to lag a little. When I get on the gas in first gear the car is fine, but when I shift to 2nd and beyond and stomp the gas, the rpms rev up to 5-6k before the car even actually moves. PLEASE HELP.

 

try getting on the freeway at about 40mph in 5th gear. floor it and check to see if the clutch is slipping. If it is you will hear the engine rev up and you wont be moving any quicker until the clutch grabs. (try not to do that to much it will glaze the disk and cause it to slip more)
