IS2001

Hey everyone - new here. Just checking to see if anyone here has replaced any airbags on the IS300's, I'm looking at one that will need at least one of the bags replaced if I buy it, but from what I'm seeing it's a very expensive fix. I don't even know where I'd get the parts if I attempted a DIY job on this, don't believe I'd do regardless, but maybe it's not as challenging or as meticulous as I think.

Also curious if there are any Sr. members or anyone really in the know on the used IS market that I could talk to or PM a few questions about the IS300?

Not a senior member but I have alot of experience with installing and removing airbags, now it depends on what specific airbag your car needs replacing, for example the roof airbag usually tends to be one of the more difficult because many interior things need to be removed in order to gain access to remove it. I just bought my third IS300, one's a donor car, and the two others will be restored.
