Have someone put their head under the back of the car and turn the key to the on position just before the start position. If it's quite outside the car you should be able to hear the fuel pump prime. If you hear the fuel pump then move on to spark. Pull the first spark plug wire and plug you can get it easily at the front of the motor. Install the plug into the wire and with some insulated pliers touch the end of the plug to some clean metal surface that is grounded. Have someone crank the car there should be visible spark at the tip of the plug. This should get you pointed in the right direction.

thanks but i found out that the computer needed reprogramming and a new chip. it wasnt sending a signal for spark.
