Question Please with prep for turbo

I have a stock 2j auto. I want to go turn with the cxracing turbo kit. And I'm asking for help on what I should do to the engine to make it reliable. It currently has 204,000. Thanx in advance

How much boost are you going to run? Check your compression make sure you can handle boost. Your piston rings may be worn with that mileage.

Unrelated to your question, but I'd suggest not going with CX racing. Decent kits for the price, but you'll have a lot of headaches installing. They dont put that much time into research and development in their kits. I know this because my friend bought one of their kits for his E36 and it was pathetic. Manifold bolts didnt line up, turbo leaked straight out of the box, and everything was made super cheap. Oh and they admitted to just slapping the kit together on the fly for that car when we called asking questions... Hit up DriftMotion for an affordable quality kit! Garrett internals on all their turbos too.
