Timing belt, water pump, and clutch done at 188k with receipts. Book value in good condition is 3200 and in very good condition is 3800. He says zero rust. Looks like in good shape, but 215 k is scaring me a little. What do you think?

I think $5k is too high. mileage isn't really a factor if the owner(s) took care of the car. the 2jz is a great motor and if taken care of can go longer. see if you can talk down the price to around $3.5k. see if you can get a carfax to see if there are any reports on the vehicle.
