I have an 01 is300 I love it but idk I think it needs to be faster so do I turbo it? Or go with a Evo I have no idea where to start with the is300 never put a turbo in a car before so no idea where to begin any input would help thanks

Evo but not for a daily. Mine was on jackstands most of its life haha

A turbo setup would set you back ~10k when all said and done. Thats if you do all the work yourself too. You could swap a stock 2JZGTE into the IS as well.

Ever look into buying an earlier model STi or WRX? Upgrading to stage 2 on one of those and it will leave the IS in the dust. Unless you find yourself racing a turbo IS

I'm only looking for light psi nothing serious heard people doing it on the stock internals and everything

It will still cost you pretty heavy to do that. You could always go the route of finding lightly used parts. No matter what you still need the turbo kit, intercooler, wastegate, BOV, injectors, fuel pump, some sort of engine management system whether its a piggyback or standalone, clutch (or built auto depending on what you have), gauges...

The list goes on and on and on and on
