Default automatic transmission

Can anyone tell me if the 03 is300 automatic transmission with the five speed has a clutch systemed in it? The car goes into drive just fine but once it heats up it just slips then when it cools down its just fine again. Any help on what it could be

If fluid is not bright red replace it, and the crush washer for the drain plug. is300 only takes about 2.5 quarts of tranny fluid i only trust toyota dex as replacement. Start there. And no the automatic transmission does not have a clutch integrated into it. Torque converter.
