Default FFIM xspower intake supra

I'm a newbie here on ClubLexus but not a stranger to the information within here.

Got my 01 IS300 back in 2012... From then on, it has been an adventure. I was in the market for an intake manifold to further my build... Well, I came across XS-Power.
Customer service is a A+ in my book and not even one thing to complain about when it came to the product itself. They even followed up with me to make sure I received the FFIM and that It was to my liking. Thought I would share a few pictures and a mock-up install on my ongoing build.

I'm tared between a few choice. Losing DBW is looking kind of difficult since I'm staying Auto 5 speed. Love the Eshift, which is being built by Jeff Tsai So it' will be RMR 82.5mm TB or GS/LS400 TB [bulky] or the GTE VVTi TB. The GTE and GS/LS are plug and play and will allow me to keep the features that would hinder me if unplugged or deleted. That's only an issue for Auto trans [A650E]. GTE TB is my last option because it won't be the siz that I will need...

The RMR throttle body is a beautiful piece. About a year ago I installed a RMR intake manifold and throttle body on a buddy's Supra and it was easily the best quality manifold I've seen. But you're saying you'd have to switch to a throttle cable with the RMR and you'd rather retain the DBW? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding. Very interesting though, can't wait to see this whole thing come together.

Thks, but no, I prefer NOT retaining DBW... Without it there's a quicker throttle response which is good in my book. Still debating on the RMR TB... It's the price that got me thinking. But I'm sure with the XS-Power FFIM, it will be a great match!

Yeah I misunderstood then. I was gonna ask why you wanted to retain DBW haha. It will definitely make a great match. I vote RMR!
