Help!!!!!
My name is Josh I am goin to purchase a 2001 Lexus Is300 with the 2jz v6. What im asking is should i do this? Is it a reliable car easy to maintain easy to fix? how is it with modifications. how is the E shift. any info would be awesome as I dont want to get another money pit. please help me with my questions lol im super excited about the car should I be?

Do more research before you buy anything. From the sound of it you're not very familiar with these cars, and maybe cars in general. If that is the case, you might think that any car is a 'money pit' when something goes wrong. Take the time to read up on anything you're interested in, you'll find that most if not all of your questions have been answered years ago. Good luck with whatever you choose.
