Question on ECU

Default Question on ECU

i have a 2001 and i recently got a ECU from a 2004 Sports edition ive been trying to find out online if it makes any difference between the two it might sound stupid but would it?

For 2001 ECUs US 2JZGE models have an extra plug on the ECU-6 plugs versus 5 plugs 02-up.
Also if you don't have the ignition, key and immobilizer, car won't start up.........
