Vibrations when I drive, what could it be?
Ok I got my tires new, and rims r not bent. So that possibility is gone. I did order the Moog tie rods, they were like 63 bucks for both inner and outer. Yes I'm running stock rims and lugnuts.
That should do the job then bro. New lower ball joints, inner & outer tie rods, and an alignment. Let us know how its driving after the alignment. Leave as much as you can stock. Lexus made things to last. MOOG for those suspension parts aren't bad but not everything is worth switching from OEM, IMO.
You said you got new tires. Did you get them done at the same place that balanced them the first time? If the balancer doesnt have "road force" check, then it could still be in the tires or rims, and yes, new tires can still cause a vibe. Tie rods have to be pretty loose to feel vibes cruising at 55 or so. Loose tie rods are something you feel more during light braking.
Nah when I got tires at got them balanced at one of the best shops, first time no it was a cheap balance that I got. When I do break I have vibrations also. Got my rotors checked, tht maybe they were warped, they were fine.
The pistons were bad in the Caliper, so when driving at higher speeds, the left tires was braking, so it pulled to the left and caused vibrations, bought new caliper, all good now.
What brand caliper did you buy bro?? OEM or aftermarket? And thus far how has the repair quality treated you? Plz share. Thanks!
OEM, works fine, also got rid of the thumping when I brake, which I that was warped rotors b4.
Selling my cars soon tho, can't afford to keep it longer, to much gas eating plus I'm still a student and only work part time
