Hi all I'm new to lexus...
I've a is300 47500 miles on it automatic, engine idles 1000rpm when the a/c is on 1200 rpm.
Check engine is light on, trac off flashing and the car have lack of power, when flooring it it seems that the vvti is not kicking in.
The car has aem cold air intake and new maf sensor.
The code that it throws is p0011 camshaft timing over advanced bank1.
I took the ocv off put it on power and ground and it click and moves ok.
What I can see is there is a small thin tube by the head under the ocv , looks like a vacuum pipe, but it's open no hose goes to it is that nnormal?
What else can I do to fix this problem?
